Junior Cup Matches

Pictured above is the 2023 Iowa PGA Junior’s Teams & Gateway PGA Junior’s

The 8th Annual Junior Cup Matches will head back in the Iowa PGA Section in 2023. The Iowa PGA Junior Tour will be competing with the Gateway PGA Junior Tour in a Ryder Cup Style format.

This event is listed on the Major Point Schedule, but participation points will only be awarded. Each player will get 100 bonus points for their efforts.

The 2023 Iowa Junior Tour Team will be comprised of players from the 2022 Player of the Year Point List. The top 3 players in the boys 16-18, girls 16-18, boys 14-15 and girls 14-15 as well as 2 players from the boys 12-13 division and girls 13 & under division will be invited.

The Junior Cup Matches will be held June 10-11 at Geneva Golf & Country Club in Muscatine, Iowa. Make plans to play lots in 2023 to earn a spot on the 2024 team!

There will be no entry fee in 2023 thanks to Iowa PGA Section sponsorship and includes two days of golf, lunch both days, and two team shirts. The Iowa PGA is also excited to welcome University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s PGA PGM program as supporting sponsors of the event.  More details will be given as they are finalized.
