2025 Junior Tour Player of the Year Winners
Riverside, Iowa – The Iowa PGA Junior Tour Player of the Year point totals continued for 2025 in a “best of” approach; points are earned by a player in the top 15 tournaments that he or she participated in. At the conclusion of the season, the player with the most points acquired in their division is awarded this title. The age divisions included are: Boys 11 & Under, Boys 12-13, Boys 14-15, Boys 16-18, Girls 13 & Under, Girls 14-15, Girls 16-18.
Events are categorized in four groups: Major, Ace, Eagle, and Birdie. Major Point events are worth the most amount of points, then Ace, Eagle and finally Birdie. Bonus points were added to the junior’s total if they won a Major for the Boys 14-18 and Girls 14-18. The 2025 Iowa PGA Junior Tour Player of the Year award recipients will be honored at the Iowa PGA Special Awards Luncheon that will be held on Tuesday, October 21 at Riverside Casino & Golf Resort.

Boys 16-18
Cole Harris of Bettendorf, Iowa won the 2025 Iowa PGA Junior Tour Boys 16-18 Player of the Year Award accumulating 3,430.50 Player of the Year points. Harris competed in 21 events this season with five 1st place victories. In total, he finished in the top five in 13 events. He was victorious at the Fyre Lake Classic in Sherrard, the Iowa PGA Junior at Saddleback, the Iowa PGA Waterloo Junior at Irv Warren Memorial and at the Galesburg Junior Open hosted by Lake Bracken CC and Bunker Links GC and Valley View Junior Championship, both Major Point Events. Cole played well and often this season contributing to being awarded this great honor. This is Cole’s first Iowa PGA Player of the Year award.

Girls 16-18
Jaylee Shaffer of Mount Ayr won the 2025 Iowa PGA Junior Tour Girls 16-18 Player of the Year with 3,662 Player of the Year points. Shaffer appeared in 14 events on the Iowa PGA Junior Tour this season. She won 3 of those events and finished in the top 4 each time she played except twice. She rallied late in the season and added extra events to her schedule where her 1st place finishes assisted in the capture of her Player of the Year honor. She was victorious at the Western Iowa Junior at Carroll National GC and Fort Dodge CC, the Iowa PGA Junior at Saddleback and the Iowa PGA Junior at Sheaffer Memorial GC. Shaffer’s extensive accolades include being the 2025 state champion as well as the 2024 state runner-up. This is also Jaylee’s third Iowa PGA Player of the Year award winning the Girls 14-15 title in 2023 and the Girls 13 & Under title in 2022.

Boys 14-15
Andrew Vollbeer of Eldridge, Iowa is this year’s 2025 Iowa PGA Junior Tour Boys 14-15 Player of the Year Award accumulating 3,343.33 Player of the Year Points. Vollbeer competed in 11 events this season and never finished out of the top 5. He had two first place victories and 6 runner-up finishes. Andrew was victorious in the Iowa Boys Junior Amateur hosted at Glynns Creek GC and the Galesburg Junior Open hosted by Lake Bracken CC and Bunker Links GC. With a low scoring average of 73.15, Andrew had a fantastic season and was always in contention. This is his first Iowa PGA Player of the Year award and a well-deserved honor.

Girls 14-15
Liliana Graham of Bettendorf, Iowa accumulated 5,830 Player of the Year points to win the 2025 Iowa PGA Junior Tour Girls 14-15 Player of the Year award. Liliana played in 19 Iowa PGA Junior Tour events this season. She won 7 events in 2025 and only finished outside the top 2 places twice. A few of her victories included the Principal Charity Classic hosted by Wakonda Club, the Cedar Valley Junior Championship hosted by Pheasant Ridge GC, the Iowa Junior Open hosted by Blue Top Ridge in Riverside and the Morris Family Invitational hosted by Cedar Rapids CC, all 2-day Major Point events. Liliana is no stranger to golf success, she represented the Iowa PGA very well at Augusta National GC at the 2022 Drive, Chip & Putt Championship in the Girls 10-11 divisions finishing in a tie for 3rd place and also earned the Girls 13 & Under Player of the Year honor in 2023.

Boys 12-13
Sam Federly of Waukee, Iowa won the 2025 Iowa PGA Junior Tour Boys 12-13 Player of the Year. He finished the 2025 season with a total of 5,220 Player of the Year points. Sam played in 20 events this season, only finishing outside the top 4 once, which was still pretty good at 6th place. He won 10 times and was runner-up 6 times in 2025. His victories included the Spring Series at Muscatine, the 49th PGA Junior Boys Championship at Gates Park GC, the Iowa PGA Junior Championship at Jester Park, the Iowa Games Junior at Veenker, the Western Iowa Junior at Lakeside GC and Ford Dodge CC, the Iowa PGA Junior at Blank, the Mid-Summer Classic at Otter Creek GC and Briarwood GC, the Iowa PGA Junior at Saddleback, the Iowa PGA Waterloo Classic at Irv Warren and the Iowa PGA Junior at Sheaffer Memorial. The Boys 12-13 was by far the most competitive group in 2025 with impressive play by all players. Sam rose to the top and his fantastic play made him the winningest male 18-hole player on the Junior Tour this season. This is Federly’s first Iowa PGA Player of the Year award.

Girls 13 & Under
Brookie Conard of Urbandale, Iowa won the 2025 Iowa PGA Junior Tour Girls 13 & Under Player of the Year with 3,570 Player of the Year points. Brookie appeared in 10 events on the Iowa PGA Junior Tour this season. She won 4 events and never finished outside of the top 3. She was victorious in the Iowa PGA Spring Junior Open hosted by Elmwood Country Club and Ames Golf & Country Club, the Junior Tour Kick Off hosted by Edmundson GC, the Galesburg Junior Open hosted by Bunker Links GC and Lake Bracken CC and the Iowa Junor Open hosted by Blue Top Ridge in Riverside. Brookie also represented the Iowa PGA well at the Drive, Chip & Putt Championship earlier this year in the Girls 10-11 division where she finished 4th. This is Brookie’s first Iowa PGA Player of the Year award.

Boys 11 & Under
Ian Johnson of Bettendorf, Iowa played in 15 events, resulting in 5,210 Player of the Year points, to win the 2025 Iowa PGA Junior Tour Boys 11 & under Player of the Year award. Ian won 9 events outright and tied for 1st in 2 others and never finished outside of the top 3 when he played. A few of his notable victories included the Iowa PGA Junior Spring Junior Open hosted by Ames G & CC and Elmwood CC, the Cedar Valley Junior Championship at Pheasant Ridge GC, the Galesburg Junior Open at Bunker Links GC and Lake Bracken CC, the Western Iowa Junior hosted by Carroll National GC and Fort Dodge CC and Valley View Junior Championship, all 2-day Major Point events. Consistent and stellar play assisted Johnson in earning his first player of the Year honor in 2025 for the Boys 11 & Under division.
