43rd Iowa Boys Junior PGA Championship Day 1 Results
Indianola, Iowa—The 43rd Iowa Boys PGA Junior Championships started this morning at the Indianola Country Club. The two-day event will conclude tomorrow. The top two boys in the 16-18 division from the Iowa Championship will advance on to the National 43rd Junior PGA Championship held at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky.
Jake Marvelli finished at two-under-par this afternoon, leading the boys 16-18 age division. Only one stroke behind Marvelli, Nathan Ferrell and Brock Barnhart are tied for second. Click here for results.
Hogan Hansen sits atop the boys 14-15 age division, holds a one-stroke lead after one round of competition, shooting a two-over-par after day 1. Jack Moody currently sits in second place, shooting a 3-over-par for day 1. Click here for results.
Maxwell Tjoa has a three-stroke lead in the boys 12-13 age division. Tjoa shot a one-over-par, while Evan Smith sits in second place at four-over-par. Click here for results.
