IOWA CITY, Iowa – The Iowa PGA hosted the 44th Iowa Girls Junior PGA Championship at Finkbine Golf Course. The two day championship was jam packed with action and Claudia Chia was awarded the longest putt winner. Chia knocked down an eight foot and 11 inch putt on hole nine.
Girls 16-18
Shannyn Vogler put together back-to-back days of great golf shooting 1-over-par for the tournament. Iowa City native, Manuela Lizarazu shot the best round of the day carding 2-under-par to finish in second place. Paige Hoffman shot even today to finish in third.

Girls 14-15
Rylee Heryford of Newton, won the division with a 3-over-par 75, the lowest of anyone to play today. Henryford won the tournament by 11 strokes. Saffire Sayre finished in second place, edging Amber Henson of Marshalltown by one stroke. They shot 16 and 17-over-par for the weekend respectively.

Girls 13-Under
Clear Lake’s Megan DeLong won her division shooting 6-over-par 42. Her 42 was the lowest of any player in the division throughout the tournament. Eden Lohrbach and Lauren Briggs tied both days to finish tied for second place.
