Cobra-Puma Junior Cup Matches
RIVERSIDE, Iowa – The 5th Annual Cobra-Puma Junior Cup is set to begin Saturday, June 1st and be completed on Sunday, June 2nd in Edwardsville, Illinois at Sunset Hills Country Club. The Iowa PGA Junior Tour will be competing against the Gateway PGA Junior Tour in a Ryder Cup Style format. This event is by invitation only.
The Iowa Junior Tour Team will be comprised of players from the 2018 Player of the Year Point List. The top 3 players in the boys 16-18, girls 16-18, boys 14-15 and girls 14-15, as well as 2 players from the boys 12-13 division and girls 13 & under division, will be invited. Captain picks will be considered for alternates. A total of 16 players will compete from both the Iowa Junior Tour and the Gateway PGA Junior Tour.
Day one will feature morning Four-Ball Matches (best ball) and the afternoon will feature Foursome Matches (alternate shot). On Sunday morning the event will conclude with Singles Matches beginning at 8:00 a.m. (CT).
