Iowa PGA Junior Golf Academy Preview
RIVERSIDE, Iowa – The Iowa PGA is hosting the 39th Annual Junior Golf Academy at Pheasant Ridge GC in Cedar Falls. It will be an extensive four days of instruction by PGA professionals and fun had by all.
The action starts Monday with the juniors receiving instruction on the range with full swings, along with putting, chipping, and pitching before playing the par three challenge. On Tuesday, the professionals will instruct and then play an 18-hole stroke play event with the juniors. On Wednesday, the senior division will do the same and then play with the juniors in an 18-hole stroke play event.
The Iowa PGA would like to give a special thanks to Head PGA Professional John Bermel, all the Iowa Section Professionals helping, and the entire staff at Pheasant Ridge for their support in hosting this event the past 15 years.
