Riverside, IA – Ryan Cole of Glen Allen, Virginia is the 88th Iowa Open Champion presented by Riverside Casino and Golf Resort on Sunday, August 1 at Blue Top Ridge at Riverside. Cole’s 3-day total was 65-69-63=197, -19. Cole’s final round included an eagle on hole 4; birdies on holes 1, 3, 5, 7, 11, 12, 14, 17 and 18 including bogeys on holes 6 and 16 as he fired a 9-under-par round of 63.

Coralville, Iowa – The East Team won East-West Team Event on Monday, August 2, 2021 at Brown Deer Golf Club. Teams for East-West Team Event were compromised of 10 best balls gross, on each hole. The East Team was led by Mike Armes as they shot 78-under-par score of 561 to defeat the West Team. The Iowa PGA would like to thank PGA Head Professional Sean McCarty, PGA Golf Instructor Jeff Schmid, PGA Assistant Golf Professional Brian Wernimont and the entire Brown Deer Golf Club staff for hosting this event. Riverside, IA – Final round of the Iowa Junior Open 18-Hole was a Major Point Event on the 2021 Iowa PGA Junior Tour at Blue Top Ridge Golf Course. This event is held in conjunction with the 2021 Iowa Open, which is the premier Professional Golf event in the State of Iowa.
The Champion of the 16-18 Boys Divisions, Will Simpson of Pella, Iowa (-9) will receive a complimentary round in the Amateur Division in the 2022 Iowa Open. Congrats Will! The Iowa PGA would like to thank PGA Director of Golf Bryan Haas, PGA Head Professional Michael McNamara, golf course maintenance crew led by Mike Nelson and the entire Blue Top Ridge staff and volunteers for hosting the 18-Hole event.
