Birdie Blitz
DON’T MISS THE FIRST ONE!
The Iowa PGA Foundation will be having our 1st Annual Birdie Blitz to raise funds for our program. We are looking for 24 PGA Professionals or Associates to play in this event. We will raise money based on the number of birdies and/or eagles you make. You will send out a link to your membership/players that wish to contribute to the cause. Funds will go to support Junior Golf, Scholarships, Grants, GIVE Foundation and any other items the Iowa PGA Foundation dreams up from the Strategic Plan.

Format: 54-holes of a 2-person scramble/best shot – only birdies or better count. The course will be set up shorter, 2 cups on each hole and easier length to foster MORE BIRDIES OR BETTER.
Shootout: after play a 4 team horserace for the Championship Belt made up of the top two scoring teams that day and the top 2 fundraising teams
Other: food provided, great gift package for all participants
Schedule of Events
| 7:00 am – 7:15 am | Players should plan to arrive, and the practice area will be open and available. |
| 7:00 am – 7:30 am | Player registration, located inside the golf shop. – Welcome Gifts, Team Golf Shirts, and more. |
| 8:15 am | Welcome, opening announcements. Group photo. |
| 8:30 am | Shotgun Start. First 36-hole rotation. |
| 1:00 pm – 1:30 pm | Conclusion of first 36-hole rotation. Lunch break begins. |
| 2:00 pm | Shotgun Start of final 18-hole rotation. |
| 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm | Championship Shootout. 3 Hole scramble, one team is out each Hole. Winners get championship belt and small purse. |
| 5:30 pm | Closing reception – food, drinks, check presentations |
