Gateway PGA Junior’s Win Cobra Puma Junior Cup Matches-
Jefferson City, Missouri – The Gateway PGA Junior’s defeated Iowa PGA Junior’s 17.5 points to 14.5 points in the Cobra Puma Junior Cup Matches at Jefferson City Country Club. This marks five wins for the Gateway PGA Junior’s. Back in 2017 Iowa PGA and Gateway PGA tied. Fantastic work by both the Iowa PGA Juniors and Gateway PGA Juniors for battling the past two days.
We are proud of the Iowa PGA Junior’s with them battling for the cup. Thank you for representing the Iowa PGA Section and the state of Iowa.
The Gateway PGA Junior golfers won 9.5 on the final day of the Junior Cup Matches.
One of the Iowa Junior team members won all three of their matches over the last two-days – Nolan Murphy.
Today’s Single Matches included, Andrew Vollbeer defeated Cameron Mraz, 1 up. Nolan Murphy defeated Dylan Press, 5 & 3. Brooklynn Conard defeated Blake Ahearn, 2 & 1. Logan Otting defeated Cameron Winkler, 3 & 1. Allee Rose Booten defeated Morgan Buckley, 7 & 6.
Kirsten Nuss was defeated by Audrey Miller, 2 & 1. Liliana Graham was defeated by Madison Pyatt, 6 & 5. James Vollbeer was defeated by Adam Robinson, 4 & 3. Nora Larimer was defeated by Mckenzie Ahearn, 4 & 2. Michael Koury, Jr., was defeated by Jack Britt, 3 & 2. Cole Harris was defeated by Rex Mauzy, 1 up.
Evan Graham was defeated by Mukt Patel, 3 & 2. Bree Stegall was defeated by Morgan Nute, 5 & 4.
We had ties between Sam Federly, Kaiden Hermann, Jaylee Shaffer, Ally Suhre, Meredith Yung and Whitney Lovel.
