Drive, Chip, and Putt

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

2026 marks the twelfth year for the National PGA Drive, Chip & Putt program sponsored by the Masters Foundation, the USGA and The PGA of America. The Iowa Section, along with all other 41 sections, will be continuing to participate. The Iowa PGA will host 20 local qualifiers for the national program and 2 sub-regional sites. Juniors will advance from Iowa’s sub-regional site to the regional site which will be determined at a later date.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

This event is open to boys and girls at least 7 years of age and no older than 15 as of April 5, 2026. Boys and girls will compete in separate divisions in 4 age categories: 7-9 years old, 10-11 years old, 12-13 years old and 14-15 years old. Registration for a local will only be available online from January 24th until 5 days prior to each event. Age for 2026 competition will be determined by participant’s age as of the National Final on April 5, 2026. Please feel free to call the office if you have any questions – (319) 648-0026. 2026

The Iowa PGA will be hosting 20 Local Qualifiers. 2 of the 20 qualifiers will be private qualifiers and are open to only members at the courses hosting. These qualifiers will be run by the courses PGA Professional and their staff. The finalists from these qualifiers will advance to the Sub-Regional Qualifier at either Bluetop Ridge in Riverside, Iowa or Des Moines Golf & Country Club in West Des Moines, Iowa. These Sub-Regionals will be administered by Iowa PGA Staff.
