Gateway PGA Junior’s Win Cobra Puma Junior Cup Matches-
Muscatine, Iowa – The Gateway PGA Junior’s defeated the Iowa PGA Junior’s 16.5 points to 15.5 points in the Cobra-Puma Junior Cup Matches at Geneva Golf & Country Club. This marks five wins for the Gateway PGA Junior’s. Back in 2017 Iowa PGA and Gateway PGA tied. Fantastic work by both the Iowa PGA Juniors and Gateway PGA Juniors for battling the past two-days. Congratulations to the Gateway PGA Junior!
Final Round Recap:
The Iowa PGA Junior golfers won 8 Single Matches on the final day of the Junior Cup Matches. Two of the Iowa PGA Junior’s team members won all three of their matches over the last two-days – Lucas Laffoon and Cody Weaver.
Today’s Singles Matches included; Lauren Briggs defeated Reese Reinhardt, 4&3. Easton Korell defeated Jake Montgomery, 1 up. Morgan Rupp defeated Isabella Buckley, 5&3. Ainsley Wilson defeated Sara Kolar, 2&1. Cody Weaver defeated Thomas Shuert, 1 up. Jackson Buchanan defeated Mukt Patel, 5&3. Lucas Laffoon defeated Ivan Kennedy, 3&1. Parker Rodgers defeated Timmy Siebenman, 4&2.
Ansley Adams were defeated by Annabella Bush, 4&3. Roman Roth were defeated by Bejamin Rich, 2&1. Jane Petersen were defeated by Peyton Cusick, 4&2. Braeden Nelson were defeated by Harper Ackerman, 2&1. Sam Wahman defeated by Samuel Ottwell, 2 up. Jaylee Shaffer defeated by Ann Bell, 2 up. Morgan Nute defeated Brooklyn Lee, 5&4. Ally Suhre defeated by Chloe Bolte, 2 up.
We had ties between Morgan Rupp and Rachel Johnson; Lawson Hachmeister.
