Iowa PGA Junior’s and Gateway PGA Junior’s Tie After Round One at Jefferson City Country Club-
Jefferson City, Missouri – The Iowa PGA Junior’s and Gateway PGA Junior’s are both tied with 8 points after day one at the Jefferson City Country Club. These matches are between Iowa PGA and Gateway PGA Junior Golfers. The final round will conclude tomorrow with Singles Matches starting at 8:30 AM.
The morning started off with Four-Ball Matches. The Iowa PGA Junior’s and Gateway PGA Junior’s both tied in the morning rounds with 4 points total.
The five matches the Iowa PGA Junior’s won were with Evan Graham and Michael Koury Jr., defeating Rex Mauzy and Cameron Winkler, 1 up. Jaylee Shaffer and Allee Rose Booten defeated Whitney Lovel and Morgan Buckley, 3 & 2. Andrew Vollbeer and Nolan Murphy defeated Jack Britt and Dylan Press, 2 & 1. Liliana Graham and Kirsten Nuss defeated Audrey Miller and Maidson Pyatt, 2 & 1.
The teams of Cole Harris and Logan Otting were defeated by Cameron Mraz and Mukt Patel, 2 & 1. Meredith Yung and Bree Stegall were defeated by Ally Suhre and Morgan Nute, 7 & 6. Same Federly and James Vollbeer were defeated by Adam Robinson and Kaiden Hermann, 4 & 2. Brooklynn Conard and Nora Larimer were defeated by Blake Ahearn and Mckenzie Ahearn, 4 & 3.
The afternoon session featured Foursome (Alternate Shot) matches.
The Iowa PGA Junior’s and Gateway PGA Junior’s both tied with 8 points in the Foursome Play.
Logan Otting and Bree Stegall defeated Rex Mauzy and Whitney Lovel, 3 & 2. Michael Koury Jr. and Liliana Graham defeated Cameron Winkler and Morgan Buckley, 8 & 7. Nolan Murphy and Kirsten Nuss defeated Dylan Press and Madison Pyatt, 2 & 1. James Vollbeer and Nora Larimer defeated Adam Robinson and Blake Ahearn, 4 & 2.
