49th Junior PGA Championship
JUNIOR PGA CHAMPIONSHIP
The Junior PGA Championship has traditionally been known as a stepping stone for many today’s PGA and LPGA Tour professionals as well as current collegiate stars. Professionals such as Stewart Cink, In-Bee Park, Jim Furyk, Trevor Immelman, Christie Kerr, Anothy Kim, Justin Leonard, Michelle McGann, Phil Mickelson, Sean O’Hair, Grace Park, Dottie Pepper, Scott Verplank, David Toms, Michelle Wie and Tiger Woods all competed in the Junior PGA Championships. The national championships will be held at Brick Boilermaker Golf Complex in West Lafayette, Indiana on July 29-August 1, 2025.
The Iowa PGA will have two qualifying spots from each of the boys and the girls 49th Junior PGA Championship. On top of the two qualifiers, there will also be two alternates in case the qualifiers
2024 IOWA BOYS NATIONAL JUNIOR PGA CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER
THE 2024 IOWA BOYS NATIONAL JUNIOR PGA CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER WAS HELD AT GATES PARK GC ON JUNE 5-6. THE 2024 IOWA BOYS JUNIOR PGA CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER WAS A MAJOR POINT EVENT ON THE IOWA PGA SCHEDULE AND WAS ALSO AN AJGA PERFORMANCE BASED ENTRY EVENT AND A JUNIOR GOLF SCOREBOARD EVENT.
Congratulations to Isaac Rumler and Jack Rogers (birdied the 3rd playoff hole) who qualified to compete in 2024 Junior PGA Championship in Bethesda, MD on July 30 – August 2!!
2024 IOWA GIRLS NATIONAL JUNIOR PGA CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER
THE 2024 IOWA GIRLS NATIONAL JUNIOR PGA CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER WAS HELD AT ELMCREST COUNTRY CLUB ON JULY 8-9. THE 2024 IOWA GIRLS NATIONAL JUNIOR PGA CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER WAS A MAJOR POINT EVENT ON THE IOWA PGA SCHEDULE AND WAS ALSO AN AJGA PERFORMANCE BASED ENTRY EVENT AND A JUNIOR GOLF SCOREBOARD EVENT.
Congratulations to Sasha Challagolla and Mehar Julka who qualified to compete in the 2024 Junior PGA Championship in Bethesda, Maryland on July 30 – August 2, 2024.

ONLY PLAYERS RESIDING IN THE IOWA PGA SECTION ARE ELIGIBLE TO PLAY IN THE 46th JUNIOR PGA CHAMPIONSHIP. IF YOU LIVE WEST OF HIGHWAY 71 IN WESTERN IOWA, YOU ARE OUTSIDE OF THE IOWA PGA SECTION BOUNDARIES, YOU MUST PARTICIPATE IN THE NEBRASKA PGA SECTION CHAMPIONSHIP.
