Larimer, Adkisson, Lohrbach, Wilson to Compete in Junior PGA Championship

Larimer, Adkisson, Lohrbach, Wilson to Compete in Junior PGA Championship-
Riverside, Iowa – The Iowa PGA has four junior golfers will be competing in the Junior PGA Championship will be hosted by Fields Ranch East & West in Frisco, Texas on July 28-31, 2026. Drew Larimer of Cedar Falls, Iowa and Jaxon Adkisson of Davenport, Iowa, Ava Lohrbach of Ames, Iowa and Ainsley Wilson of Iowa City, Iowa all will compete in the 2026 Junior PGA Championship.

New this year, the final two rounds of play will be streamed live on the PGA of America YouTube channel. The broadcast, originating from the PGA of America Studios at the Home of the PGA of America, will feature Bryan Fenley (Host), Lauren Withrow (Analyst/On-Course Reporter) and Ewan Porter (Analyst).
Broadcast starting times (the stream will run through the conclusion of play each day and the trophy presentation on Friday):

  • Third Round, Thursday, July 30: 3 p.m. CT

  • Final Round, Friday, July 31: 11 a.m. CT

The 50th Boys Junior PGA Championship was held at Gates Park Golf Course in Waterloo, Iowa on June 10-11. Adkisson’s one-day total round of 68, 4-under-par to claim first place and won in a playoff. Larimer one-day total round of 68, 4-under-par to come in second place.

The 50th Girls Junior PGA Championship was held at Elmcrest Country Club in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Lohrbach of Ames, Iowa two-day total rounds of 68-73=141, 1-over-par to claim first place. Wilson’s two-day total rounds of 73-71=144, 4-over-par to come in second place.
