Rumler, Rogers, Challagolla and Julka to Compete in Junior PGA Championship-
Riverside, Iowa – The Iowa PGA has four junior golfers will be competing in the Junior PGA Championship will be hosted by Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland on July 30 – August 2, 2024. Issac Rumler of Moline, Illinois, Jack Rogers of Iowa City, Iowa, Sasha Challagolla of Bettendorf, Iowa and Mehar Julka of Hiawatha, Iowa all will compete in the 48th Iowa Boys and Girls Junior PGA Championship.
The 48th Boys Junior PGA Championship was held at Gates Park Golf Course in Waterloo, Iowa on June 5-6. Rumler’s two-day total rounds of 69-76=145, 1-over-par to claim first place. Rogers’s two-day total round of 72-75=147, 3-over-par to come in second place and won in a playoff.
The 48th Girls Junior PGA Championship was held at Elmcrest Country Club in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Challagolla’s two-day total rounds of 70-68=138, 2-under-par to claim first place. Julka’s two-day total rounds of 72-71=143, 3-over-par to come in second place.
