Team Iowa 54-Hole Recap of Girls PGA High School National Invitational-
Pinehurst, North Carolina – Iowa was represented by Addison Splinter, Camille Wood, Elin Mueller, Ella Sherrick, Ellie Heiar, Kinsail Blaylock, Lila J. Haffarnan, Lyla Johnson, Nisha Koneru, Sophia Thier, Stella Roemer and Stella Thier all competed in the PGA High School National Invitational at Pinehurst Resort in Pinehurst, North Carolina on July 11-13, 2026.
The courses that were competed on for all days were Pinehurst #5, #6 and #8.
Team Iowa (PLV)
The ladies are on team PLV: Wood, Sherrick, Blaylock, Haffarnan, Johnson and Roemer.
Team Iowa (PLV) placed 7th overall (312-303-308=909, +53) to represent the state of Iowa down at Pinehurst North Carolina.
Roemer’s first round (July 11) she carded birdies on holes 7, 12, 14 and 18 including bogeys on holes 13, 15 and 16. Roemer’s second round (July 12) she carded birdies on holes 3, 4 and 18; bogeys on holes 1, 2, 7, 11, 14 and 15 including a double bogey on hole 13. Roemer’s third round (July 13) she carded birdies on holes 1 and 7 including bogeys on holes 5, 12 and 16. Her 54-Hole total 71-75-73=219, 5-over-par and placed T31st overall.
Wood’s first round (July 11) she carded birdies on holes 1, 2, 7 and 13 including bogeys on holes 8, 9 and 15. Wood’s second round (July 12) she carded a birdie on hole 3 including bogeys on holes 5, 10, 11, 13 and 16. Wood’s third round (July 13) she carded a birdie on hole 3; bogeys on holes 1 and 5 including a double bogey on hole 6. Her 54-Hole total 71-74-75=220, 6-over-par and placed T34th overall.
Sherrick’s first round (July 11) she carded a birdie on hole 3; bogeys on holes 1, 2, 5 and 15 including a double bogey on hole 13. Sherrick’s second round (July 12) she carded birdies on holes 1, 4, 15 and 18; bogeys on holes 2, 3,6 12 and 13 including double bogey on hole 8. Sherrick’s third round (July 13) she carded bogeys on holes 8, 10, 12, 15, 16, 17 and 18. Her 54-Hole total 77-73-79=229, 15-over-par and placed T60th overall.
Haffarnan’s first round (July 11) she carded bogeys on holes 5, 9, 10, 12, 15 and 17 including a double bogey on hole 1. Haffarnan’s second round (July 12) she carded a birdie on hole 2 including bogeys on holes 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15, 16 and 17. Haffarnan’s third round (July 13) she carded bogeys on holes 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, 15, 16 and 17. Her 54-Hole total 81-79-81=241, 27-over-par and placed T87th overall.
Blaylock’s first round (July 11) she carded a birdie on hole 17; bogeys on holes 2, 6, 9, 10, 13, 15 and 16 including double bogeys on holes 1, 5, 8 and 11. Blaylock’s second round (July 12) she carded a birdie on hole 4; bogeys on holes 3, 7, 10, 12 and 17 including double bogeys on holes 1, 2, 8, 11, 13 and 18.
Blaylock’s third round (July 13) she carded bogeys on holes 1, 2, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, 15 and 17 including double bogeys on holes 6 and 16. Her 54-Hole total 87-89-85=261, 47-over-par and placed T109th overall.
Team Iowa (WLT)
The ladies are on team WLT: Splinter, Mueller, Heiar, Koneru, Sophia Their and Stella Thier.

Mueller’s first round (July 11) she carded birdies on holes 4, 10 and 18 including bogeys on holes 1, 7, 13 and 15.
Mueller’s second round (July 12) she carded a birdie on hole 13 including bogeys on holes 1 and 2. Mueller’s third round (July 13) she carded birdies on holes 2, 3 and 12 including bogeys on holes 1, 4 and 14. Her 54-Hole total 71-73-72=216, 2-over-par and placed T21st overall.
Splinter, Heiar, Thier, Johnson, Knoeru and Thier all missed the final cut of play.
Splinter’s first round (July 11) she carded a birdie on hole 18; bogeys on holes 2, 7, 10, 12, 13, 14 and 15 including double bogeys on holes 11 and 17. Splinter’s second round (July 12) she carded bogeys on holes 2, 5, 6, 7, 9 and 17 including double bogeys on holes 10, 12 and 13. Her 36-Hole total 80-85-165, 23-over-par.
Heiar’s first round (July 11) she carded birdies on holes 4 and 18; bogeys on holes 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 including double bogeys on holes 1 and 17. Heiar’s second round (July 12) she carded bogeys on holes 6, 7, 12 and 18 including double bogeys on holes 1, 2, 9, 10, 14 and 15. Her 36-Hole total 82-92=174, 32-over-par.
Sophia Thier’s first round (July 11) she carded a birdie on hole 5; bogeys on holes 1, 3, 4, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, 15 and 18 including double bogeys on holes 2, 6 and 14. Sophia Thier’s second round (July 12) she carded bogeys on holes 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 15 including double bogeys on holes 1, 6, 11 and 13. Her 36-Hole total 87-94=181, 39-over-par.
Stella Thier substituted in for Koneru Tuesday
Koneru’s first round (July 11) she carded bogeys on holes 1, 10, 11, 16 and 18 including double bogeys on holes 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 13, 14 and 17. Her 18-Hole total 96.
Stella Their’ s second round (July 12) she carded bogeys on holes 8, 9 and 16; double bogeys on holes 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 15. Her 18-Hole total was 110.
SANDHILLS SHOOTOUT
Splinter’s first round (July 13) she carded birdies on holes 11 and 14; bogeys on holes 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 including double bogeys on holes 4, 12 and 15. Her 18-Hole total was 84 and placed T43rd.
Johnson’s first round (July 13) she carded bogeys on holes 3, 7, 8, 10, 11, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17 including double bogeys on holes 1, 2 and 6. Her Sandhills shootout score was 86, 16-over-par and placed T54th.
Heiar’s first round (July 13) she carded a birdie on hole 9; bogeys on holes 2, 4, 6 and 18 including double bogeys on holes 1, 7, 10, 13, 14 and 15. Her 18-Hole total was 86 and placed T54th.
Koneru’s first round (July 13) she carded bogeys on holes 2, 3, 12 and 13 including double bogeys on holes 1, 4, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 17 and 18. Her 18-Hole total was 95 and placed 84th.
Individual (IND-PLV) – played in the SandHills Shootout
Johnson’s first round (July 11) she carded bogeys on holes 3, 6, 8, 9, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 including double bogeys on holes 1, 2, 4, 5, 7 and 13. Johnson’s second round (July 12) she carded bogeys on holes 1, 4, 8, 12 and 18 including double bogeys on holes 3, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17. Her 36-Hole total 96-99-195, 53-over-par.
