- Muscatine, Iowa – The Iowa PGA Junior and Pee Wee Spring Series at Muscatine was an Ace Point Event on the 2023 Iowa PGA Junior and Pee Wee Tour held at Muscatine Municipal Golf Course. - West Des Moines, Iowa – The American Cancer Society’s 2023 Coaches vs Cancer Gala will be held on Friday, May 12 at The Meadows Event and Conference Center – Prairie Meadow – Altoona, Iowa. Click here for more information.
- Washington, D.C. – John Valliere & Greg Mason attended National Golf Day in Washington DC with over 200 individuals representing the golf industry. Did you know the golf industry impacts Iowa’s economy with over 817 million dollars, representing over 11,000 jobs and taxes of over 75 million dollars. Tuesday, they participated in a Community Project on the National Mall. Wednesday they will meet with Senators and Congressional representatives from Iowa to talk about pending legislation that affects the golf industry. - East Moline, Illinois – The Iowa PGA Match Play Champion is Chad Proehl of Sugar Creek Golf Course. The event was held on Tuesday, May 9 at Short Hills Country Club. Players were seeded according to the Master Points List kept by the Iowa PGA and player reputation. Chad Proehl of Sugar Creek Golf Course in Urbandale, Iowa won the Match Play by defeating Matt Jennings of Bos Landen Golf Club in the final match, 4 & 2. Click here for results.
